Researched Material on
Andoniram Judson Brinkerhoff

George Toriello sent me this material on December 20, 2018 on Brinkerhoff, who is in the photo of Civil War veterans.  First, he found out his full name which is Andoniram Judson Brinkerhoff

Andoniram Judson Brinkerhoff was born on July 13, 1840 in Franklin Square, New Jersey.
The James B. McPherson Post 52 - G.A.R.(Grand Army of the Republic) of Hackensack, New Jersey lists Judson Brinkerhoff as a member.

Material researched from Page 476, 133rd. Infantry Roster reveals that
Andoniram Judson Brinkerhoff at age 22 enlisted, August 20, 1862, at New York City, to serve for three years; mustered in as private, Co. B, 133rd Regiment New York September 24, 1862 and he was discharged for disability prior to October 1864, at New Orleans, Louisiana.

An interesting note is that The Brinkerhoff's owned the land and built the house (1862) that George Toriello grew up in on Essex Street. Here is some interesting history!! The house is listed in the Historic American Buildings Survey (Library of Congress).
